Create a Cleaning Playlist

Here at BISSELL Rental, we know that a little background music can go a long way toward getting more cleaning done—and making it fun at the same time. We’re talking about a cleaning playlist: songs that inspire you to dance around the living room while vacuuming. Trust us, it will help get your to-do list done quicker.
 
Don’t love music? Try playing audio books of the latest bestsellers or that classic you just love to read over and over. Listening to an audio book while cleaning is a great way to multitask and keep your brain engaged.
 
The key to creating a fun cleaning playlist is to focus on upbeat music that keeps you energized. Many people prefer the lively tempo of pop music, but classics work well, too. If you love dancing around the house to Beethoven while dusting, go ahead and use it for your playlist! It’s all about what makes you feel like you’re having fun, rather than completing a chore.
 
Music-streaming sites like Pandora* and Spotify** make it easy to create a playlist that you can listen to through your computer or smartphone. Make it as long as you like, but keep in mind you might not want it to repeat while you’re cleaning. So, try to figure out how long your cleaning routine typically takes.
