Our "Greenest" Carpet Cleaning Formulas

Here at BISSELL, we’d like to help you get tough on dirt but take it easy on the environment. So, we encourage you to use our earth-friendly machine formulas with the BISSELL Big Green® Carpet Cleaning Machine. You’ll be giving your carpets a deep down clean while helping make your home healthier for kids and pets.
 
These earth-friendly cleaning formulas contain only biodegradable detergents and do not contain heavy metals, phosphates or dyes. Once the formulas are mixed with tap water and used with your machine, they are safe to use with septic systems. When used as directed our formulas are safe to use in homes with kids and pets, which is especially important since they are usually guilty of making the messes!
 
Our Pet Stain and Odor machine formula meets the EPA/Safer Choice designation*.  It is based on an evaluation of the environmental and human health characteristics of the product, based on currently available information and scientific understanding.
 
While EPA/Safer Choice recognition does not constitute endorsement of any product, the Safer Choice logo signifies that the formula contains ingredients with more positive health and environmental characteristics than conventional cleaners.
